Project :
Architecture Heritage Building Analysis
[Group]
In groups of 4, we were required to select a building in Klang and study its function and how it serves the community within its vicinity. We chose to study The Royal Kalng Gallery because of its colourful history. We were required to go on site and document the different architectural elements that have been adapted by the building as well as study the influences the building has had on the community and vice versa. We visited the gallery a couple of times and on one of the visits we conducted a mini survey around the area to find out how the building relates to the businesses and people in the area. In order to substatiate our findings, we arranged for an appointment with Ar. Laurent Lim, who was in charge of the refurbishment of the gallery, to get his views on the building. Using all the information gathered, we were then required to produce a detailed report on the building.
Through this group assignment, I am able to work in a group even better. I am also able to understand how different factors will affect the development of a form of a building. My organizational skills have also improved tremendously because of this assignment. My ability to extract important information and present them in a systematic and orderly manner has also been honed.

I am also abe to identify the issues involved in the relationship of theory and design while interpreting these architectural languages. Architecture Heritage Building Analysis
[Individual]
This part of the project requires us to individually produce a presentation board on the building based on one of the following topics :- response, user & context, concept and changes. I chose to study the response of the building. Using the data collected from the report, I was to translate the relevant findings related to my topic into a digrammatic presentation board. We were then required to present our boards explaining the individual topics.
Through this assignment, I was able to critically think and choose the appropriate information relevant to my topic as space was limited. My ability to organize and layout items systematically have also improved tremendously. Finally, my presentation skills have also improved because I had to elaborate on the key information that was on my board.
