Project 1B:
4 Tonal Values
We were required to produce 4 A4 sketches based on tonal values using different medias as well as hatching techniques such as stippling, scribbling, hatching and cross hatching. After undergoing this assignment, my ability to understand and illustrate depth and and tone has improved. I was also able to hone my skills in the various techniques of hatching . My comprehension of space and spatial ideas have developed well and my sketching skills have become better.
Project 1A:
On Site Sketching
We were required to produce 4 A4 sketches of 2 interior and 2 exterior spaces capturing solid and voids, details, landscaping and scale and proportion. After completing this assignment, I was able to improve my ability to capture details, proportions and the notion of spaces in architecture and present it in the form of sketches. My sketching abilities and understanding of tonal values have tremendously improved.
This module aims to introduce us to design communication skills through architectural graphics in order to develop skills in visualization and communication of architectural idea, space and form. After completing the module, I am able to identify the different types of architectural design communication as well as their roles in conveying architectural ideas, space and form. Through the assignments, I am able to clearly illustrate and understand visual information using 2D and 3D freehand technical drawings and present my work in a clear and systematic manner.

Project 2A:
Orthographic Projections
We were required to produce a presentation board containing a floor plan, a site plan, 4 elevations and 2 sections of a building, which in our case was Barcelona Pavilion by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, at a 1:100 scale. We were to do our own research in order to collect information based on the building such as dimensions and materiality. Through this assignment, I was able to illustrate mdoern and traditional methods of architectural drawing as well as identifying and applying architectural conventions and symbols. I was also able to record and present the relevant information manually by demonstrating line types, line weights, line quality while using architectural handwriting. This assignment helped improve my ability to produce a clear and systematic presentation board as well as hone my technical drawing skills.

Project 2B:
Axonometric Projection
Using the information gathered and the drawings used in Project 2A, we were required to generate a sectional and external axonometric drawing of Barcelona Pavilion at a 1:100 scale. Through this assignment, I was able to express spatial ideas and architectural details in 3D, through axonometric drawings. I was also able to clearly understand the process of generating these drawings and the appropriate drawing conventions to be used in such drawings. This project has also helped look into the materiality of a space and how these materials are related to each other.

Project 2C:
One Point & Two Point Perspectives
We were required to produce a one point and two point perspective drawing based on the information we gathered in Project 2A. These perspectives had to be an external view of the building and a sectional interior. After completing this assignment, my ability to express spatial ideas as well as architectural details in three dimension has improved. Besides that, my understanding of the process of creating perspectives is clear. My understanding of space and depth has also improved through this assignment.
