Project 1:
GREEN INFO-SHELTER
[ Exploring The Environmental Poetics ]
In a pair, we were required to investigate a given site which was in Taylor's University and record as well as analyse the site context and the natural environment through photographs and diagrams. Through the site analysis, we were then required to identify the user needs and brainstorm ideas for the shelter. The restrictions that were given are that the shelter should be of a volume of 3m X 3m X 3m and should provide infor on events and activites in CODA and SABD. It was to house a maximum of 5 people and minimal areas for storage and services. Through this assignment, I am able to work with others and identify their strengths and weaknesses as well as my own. I am also able to identify and analyze the environmental qualities and contextual needs of a site as well as apply environmentally sustainable ideas. FInally, I am able to employ and extort an interesting material and construction techniques.

Architecture Design Studio 4
This module aims to introduce us to the clustered organization of an architectural form or space in site planning. Besides that, it aims for us to focus on community and social needs of a context as well as raise a sense of environmental consciousness. An integration of plan to section is also one of the objectives in our architectural design. Finally, an exploration of current technology in architectural resolution is also one of the aims. Through this module, I am now able to identify the environmental qualities and contextual needs of a site as well as apply environmental sustainability in my design. I am no able to consider the environmental poetics of architectural spaces in relation to the natural context and existing built environments. Finally, I am able to produce both 2D and 3D drawings, in order to communicated and visualize the design and ideas.
Project 2:
NATURE APPRECIATION CENTER
This assignment required us to propose a communal facility based on our research on the given site which was Belum Rainforest Resort. The assignment was divided into two parts. The first being a site analysis executed as a class. We were required to divided ourselves into subgroups in order to retrieve, obtain and analyze the data collected on site. These data would then have to be synthesized and presented in a systematic and clear format. Using the synthesized data, we were then required to design a nature appreciation center on site with the following requirements. It had to be a minimum of 2 storeys with a maximum 3 storey height. The building would have to be 800 sq. m. It had to consist of a communal or meeting hall with the capacity of 100 pax, an information area, learning spaces as well as a refreshment area with a kitchen. Access for the disabled would have to be taken into consideration as well. Through this assignment, I am now able to lead a group of people in a site analysis. I have identified my strengths and weaknesses through the site analysis assignment. For the individual project, I am now able to improve on my time management skills. My ability to apply idas of environmental sustainability have also improved. Besides that, I am able to design and create spaces taking into consideration the environmental poetics in relation to the natural context and existing buildings. I am also able to combine the envionemtnal needs of the site by taking into account the topography, vegetaition and history of the site. Finally, I am able to produce drawings both 2D and 3D in order to communicate the concept and design of the building.
